UKMBA : Wesak Day + 8th AGM

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Dhamma,

The holy Wesak day is on the horizon again. This year, the UKMBA Wesak celebration will be held at the Than Siang Old Folks Home within the grounds of Kajang Country Heights, with the multiple purposes of bringing Wesak joy and fellowship to several groups – UKMBA members, UKMBF members, the old folks and the general public who throng the centre during Wesak.

Besides Wesak celebration, our AGM will also be held during the same weekend. Please see below for our Notice of the 8th UKMBA AGM, and the Attachment for further details of our Wesak-AGM programme.

By the merits you have performed by contributing to Dhamma work, may all of you be steadfast in your practice and gain Enlightenment.

UKMBA 8th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the 8th Annual General Meeting of the Upakara Kalyana Mitta Buddhist association (UKMBA) will be held at 10.00 am, May 10th 2009, at Kajang Country Heights, Kajang.

The agenda of the meeting is as follows:

1. Recitation of the Ti-Sarana and Pancasila

2. Speech by the UKMBA President

3. Presentation and adoption of previous minutes

4. Matters arising from previous minutes

5. To receive the Honorary Secretary's Report

6. To receive the Honorary Treasurer's Report and audited accounts

7. To receive Executive Committee’s reportes

8. To present constitution amendments.

9. To elect Executive Committee and to appoint auditors for 2009-2011

10. To deal with any other business of which 14 days notice in writing has been given to the Hon. Secretary of the UKMBA

11. Sharing of Merits and adjourned
